Work picture

I am delighted to anounce that Scott Vessey of Global Knowledge will be onboard to discuss VMware certifications. Now as with the best laid plans of mice and men, we seem to have a timing FUBAR.

For some reason @Kiwi_Si organised #vBeers at the same time. So now you have a choice you and kill some brain cells or feed some brain cells 🙂

I must remember that the first Thursday of the month is not a good time for Brownbags as half of the Virtualisation peeps in London are leathered.

So to sum up :
7pm on the 7th of July.

VCDX Brownbag number 5 – Open Topic

This week’s VCDX Brown Bag featuring Cody Bunch, my goodself and hopefully Russell Pope VCDX #16 (pretty certain that’s his number).  This week it is an open topic so bring your questions for the master.  Cody and my self will be loitering in the background hoping to bask in the reflected glory of a VCDX.

So as usual the registration details are below.

Call details:

Date/Time: April 27, 2010 @ 2PM CST
Registration: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/602230081

A couple of things to note, based on the feedback we have received, we have decided to make a few small changes.  These are purely administrative, and with luck they’ll help more of you join up.

Firstly we now have International Dial-In numbers – currently UK, Norway, Germany, Holland, Canada and Austrailia,  Hopefully, there is now a number available near you to join the call, if not ping us and we will endeavour to add your country to the list.

Secondly “Sign up once” for the series – now do not have to keep registering sign up for the show every week and you will be notified for all of them. The current series is set to run till May 25th.

Next a little bit about Russell.  He brings about 15 years of computing experience to his Consultant role at 4Base Technology and obvioulsy has a focus on platform virtualization. As a member of 4Base’s Virtualization Practice, he is able to leverage his strong experience in all three pillars of server virtualization architecture; systems, networking and storage.

And finally thankyou to our sponsors TrainSignal.
