vEXPERT 2010

VMware vEXPERT

Well the wait is finally over and this years awards have been announced, well most of them. there is a second tranche on Monday due to John and the voting team running out of time.

I am pleased and very honoured to have been awarded the status for the second year. I would like to thank John Troyer and his team of judges for thinking me worthy of a second years status.

I would like to take this opportunity to issue my best wishes and congratulations to all those that retained the award for a second and offer a warm welcome to those who have gained it for the first time this year.

I would also like to offer my commiserations to those of the 2009 intake that have not retained their award.

For those of my readers who are unaware of what the vEXPERT award is for, I am printing an extract from VMware’s site on the subject

The VMware vEXPERT Award is given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the community of VMware users over the past year. vEXPERTs are book authors, bloggers, VMUG leaders, tool builders, and other IT professionals who share their knowledge and passion with others. These vEXPERTs have gone above and beyond their day jobs to share their technical expertise and communicate the value of VMware and virtualization to their colleagues and community.

So by way of closing this short post I would once again, wish to thank John and his team for the honour of being awarded the status for a second year.
