The Great Northern VMUG

It is that time again, when the virtualisation peeps of the North gather in flocks in that not so great metropolis of Leeds for the Northern VMUG.  Thanks should go to Brendan and his team of happy helpers again for the effort that is put into organising the event.

This is going to be a mother of VMUGs spanning two days.  That said it is not a two day VMUG event, but there is a vBeers the night before and a special negotiated rate on the hotel.

the actual event is on the 17th April at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Leeds.

To register click the link below, and I hope to see you all there,

OK so why should you go.  well for the first instance the networking,  the majority of the who’s who of UK Virtualisation illuminati there. further they are trailing a new format,  this is the first session that will last all day and another first is that it will now include Labs for some hands on time, this sessions labs are on vCloud Director.

All in all this is really a most go to event if you are in or near to London. Pity that I will be unable to attend this time as it really seems a fantastic event..

Northern UK VMUG

Well, as stated on www.rtfm.co.uk, we Notherners are not to be outdone by the recent launch of an Irish and Scottish User Group – We have finally risen to the challenge and struck out on our own,  those that remember my attempting to start this over the previous years may well wonder why my name is not on the invite.  Well due to a Change in VMware policy regarding VMUGs,  people who are peceived as making their living from VMware are precluded form running a VMUG.
